Picking The Perfect Gambling Vacation

I used to live just about twenty miles away from Las Vegas. It was easy for me to hop in my car at the end of the week and hit the casinos for a few hours. I was able to place a bet whenever I wanted to, and I admit that I became a bit spoiled with gambling.

After all, there's nothing like being able to play craps, poker, black jack, or slots anytime you desire. However, when I transferred to another state, my weekend casino trips were no longer practical. I had to plan an all-out gambling vacation whenever I wanted to gamble.

There are some disadvantages to only being able to gamble while on a proper gambling vacation. It means that I could only play my favorite casino games once or twice a year, whereas I had been doing it nearly every weekend before I relocated.

Going on a gambling vacation also means that I had to pay for an airplane ticket, rental car, and hotel room. This means that my gambling budget will be reduced, since this was money that I couldn’t wager at the tables,

However, there are also advantages with going on a gambling vacation. For instance, I had become a more conservative and intelligent gambler. When I'm on a gambling vacation, I have to make smarter decisions because my budget has to last for the length of my trip. I realize that it could be months before I can come back to the casinos again.

Another advantage is that there are travel agencies that offer deals to top casino destinations across the U.S. and around the world. They offer package discounts to some of the best hotels and resorts on any gambling vacation they sell, and they also add a number of casino chips and other bonuses as well.

This means that I can save money in two different ways, and I can enjoy my vacation without spending too much money.

If it has been a long time since you've felt the excitement wagering a few chips on casino tables, then you should consider taking a gambling vacation. It will not cost you too much money to make your way to the top gambling destinations, and you'll have enough money to wager on all your favorite casino games.

Online Casino Bonus Schemes Review

32Red Online Casino

32Red are a UK registered casino based in Gibraltar who aspire to provide the best online casino gaming experience. They have all the casino games you would expect to find at an online casino including Baccarat, Blackjack, Craps, Pai Gow Poker, Roulette and many more each with a number of variants to choose from, as well as a vast number of slot machines.

Welcome Bonus When you sign up with 32Red online casino you can claim a welcome bonus of up to £100 for free. Their welcome bonuses are at 100%, that is they'll double your first deposit up to £100. The £100 welcome bonus is for slots only, which means to qualify for it you'll have to stick to the slot machines, fruit machines, Keno and scratchcards.

32Red also offer a £50 welcome bonus for new players with far fewer restrictions on which games can be played with the bonus. Basically you can play all the games they have with only a handful of exceptions. For both bonuses there is a wagering requirement of 25 times the combined first deposit and bonus before winnings can be withdrawn.

Monthly Bonus Regular customers with 32Red can enjoy a £50 bonus each month. The bonuses are by invitation only and customers must have wagered over £100 of their own money to receive an invitation. There is also a wagering requirement in that players must make a total in £2000 in wagers after receiving the bonus before winnings can be withdrawn.

GameAccount.com

Game Account is not exactly an online casino, rather it offers players the chance to win cash prizes at games of skill. They offer both multi-player and single player games and tournaments of gin rummy, backgammon, solitaire, 3-card poker and tournament blackjack. For those of you that have never heard of tournament blackjack, the aim is to have a higher chip stack than the other players rather than to win money from the house. The player with the highest chip stack after a predetermined number of rounds wins a fixed cash prize.

Presumably in order to avoid the effects of recent legislation Game Account only offer games of skill and not games of chance. Therefore you will not find any casino games based on chance, like roulette.

Welcome Bonus Like a great many online casinos, GameAccount.com offers new real money players a 100% bonus on their first deposit, up to £100, when they sign up. As usual, the bonus cannot be withdrawn until a certain value of wagers has been made. I could not find any exact figures on the site but I assume it would be the standard 25x. However, I would advise contacting GameAccount and checking the exact details before you sign up.

Also bear in mind that GameAccount.com charge a 10% rake on the winnings made on any particular game and charge a 5% commission on withdrawals. Remember to account for this or you might find you've won less than you thought.

Refer a Friend Bonus If you can persuade a friend to sign up, and that means a real person not just you with a different email account, then you could be eligible for an extra bonus. There is an additional bonus for the member who successfully refers the most people every month. These bonuses cannot be withdrawn, however.

Note: As far as the author is aware, these details were correct at the time of writing. However, online casinos can change their bonus schemes and their terms at any time and it is advised that readers should check the casino’s terms and conditions thoroughly before signing up.

In Pursuit of the Monster Roll

The people you meet at a craps table have any personality you can think of and a diverse group of characters. Many of these craps players will become your friends but others will have made it a fleeting visit to both the casino and a detoured stop at the table, so you are unlikely to ever see them again.

What brings all of these different people together is one common goal. Every single player who has ever played or thought about playing craps pursue the once in a lifetime ″monster roll″.

The much-dreamed of monster roll is borne out of greed. You can accumulate a lot of money from a craps table during a 20 minute roll if you know what you are doing. Most people won’t because they are just pressing and so never pick up the first chip. Others at the table are content (not happy mind you, but content) with small but steady mediocre wins. The majority, however, will be waiting on the table to run for the monster roll which will stand in a class of its own and give them something to brag about for years and years to come.

It’s often said you will only see one of those rolls in your entire lifetime although some people, usually those full of hot air, claim many more than one while others are just waiting on that ″one roll″ so they can call it a day and go home. If one of these rolls is experienced the player will just anticipate the next one, it is unlikely a dedicated craps player could give up the game altogether after taking the casino to the cleaners.

Craps is a lot like life in that when things are going good the optimist will expect that to continue because in life, it often does. The pessimist will rely on the ″what goes up must come down″ theory and full expect something bad to happen at any time following a spate of good fortune.

In craps, if you ever have the opportunity to catch ″the monster roll″ please understand there will be many other rolls which may not be as exciting as ″the big one″ but can still be very profitable.

You never know, a life changing moment may begin with the very next roll and it would be a shame for you to miss out on the thrill and more importantly, the profits!

Card Counting In Blackjack

If you are a fan of blackjack then you must be aware of the fact that in blackjack some events of your previous performance can affect your future play. It's not like other casino games such as roulette or craps where there is no effect of the previous plays on the future one. In blackjack if a player has remaining cards of high proportion then it is beneficial for the player in future games and if the player has bad cards, it adversely affects his future games. In most of the cases it is very difficult for the player to remember the cards which have been used in the previous games especially in the multiple deck shoe. Each and every remaining card in the deck gets some positive, negative or zero point value for the card counting.

Usually it is observed that the cards with low value such as 2, 3 have positive value and the higher cards have a negative value. The different value is assigned for each card depending on the card counting method. Although it is better to make a count on counter's own estimation regarding dealt cards and undealt cards but sometimes the card counter can make a tally of the point values in his mind. This would help you to determine the exact percentage or proportion or value of cards which are left in the deck shoe. Here I would like to acknowledge you that higher the point values more difficult is the counting process. Multilevel count increases the difficulty whereas the counting process that involves smaller value such as 1, -1, 0 known as level one count is the easiest.

When it comes of getting a blackjack then the importance of aces is above all other cards. Therefore treatment of aces is very important in the process of card counting in blackjack. The presence of aces has a positive count for the player when it comes to blackjack or is in the deck of cards.

The player can place larger bets if the deck of cards with him or her allows doing so or placing small bets according to the cards. The player can change his or her decisions according to the cards with him and play in a safe strategy. To get better results the player can get information relating to value of each and every card to be dealt in or any type of composition. The method of card counting by is very genuine and accurate. This will not affect he game adversely, moreover it would help you to avoid the casino countermeasures that lead to serious problems.

Stay Sane At The Casino

You may have been playing at a table where everything appears to be going according to plan. All of a sudden, someone walks up to the table and does something so stupid it messes up the game for everyone.

In these situations it is important to keep a cool head and concentrate on your own game. You may be unfortunate enough to play with someone who appears to be in the casino purely to make a daily donation to them or to bother everyone else who is there playing and having a good time. It is best just to ignore them and go about your normal game strategy as though they weren’t there. However, certain situations sometimes prevent this from being a viable option.

You may have been at a hot blackjack table but everything comes to a screeching halt because somebody on third base decided to split tens against a dealer face card. The reason they sat down on third base was to ″help control the cards″ and they pull a slick move such as this.

Inevitably, the first ten split takes the dealer’s bust card, but low and behold, because of this smart play, the dealer pulls out a 20 or 21. What should you do? Tolerate it, scream and yell? No, realise they can play their hand any way they choose to and so can you. Walk over to another table and play there. It will not get any better with this guy on the table so it’s in your best interests to find another one.

Craps is another game where you will often see a lot of distractions. You may have someone who continually throws in their last minute bets or the dice will eventually hit the guy’s money or hand and throw a seven.

On some occasions they can bring a little of the ″beginner’s luck″ to the table but if they are throwing the dice off the table and hitting the chips and glass with each toss, find another one to play on.

You will find it is a tough task to find the right table in order for you to play at and accomplish your goals for the day. If it becomes too intolerable and you can’t get into your game properly then take some time out. Go to the pool, enjoy the entertainment the city offers or switch to a different casino entirely, but don’t spend your money at a duff table.

The Secrets of the Big Numbers

Pssst…! Wanna know a secret?

How about the secrets of the Big Six and Big Eight?

As you might know, the Big Six and Eight are even money bets. This means that if you bet $12 and win, you win $12. If you placed $12 on the regular six or eight you would win $14, at 7:6 odds. The casino gives a lot of space to the big six and eight, so beginners who are afraid to give the dealer a place bet can bet directly on the Big Numbers in the corner. In most cases these bets should be avoided.

Wanna know how craps pros use the Big Numbers?

Let's find out!

There are two good uses for the Big Six and Eight. The first involves those "match play" coupons so common in the Casino fun books. Most of these coupons state they are for flat bets only, and are usually used for pass or don't pass bets, with no odds. If you put a match play coupon for $5 along with $5 on the pass line, you take a chance on getting stuck with a 4 or 10. But if you put your $5 coupon along with $5 on the Big Six or Eight, you are getting the best bet you can get, under the circumstances. If the six or eight hits, you'll get back $10 in real money. Not as good as placing the numbers, but you can't use a match-play coupon with place numbers.

The other good use of the Big Six or Eight involves table limits. If you happen to hit a really hot table and have progressed your bets on the place 6 and 8 up to the table limit, then the dealers will not let you increase your place bets. However, they will always let you make additional flat bets on the Big Numbers in addition to your place bets. So instead of a $1000 table limit, you now have a $2000 limit on the six and eight. This becomes especially useful in tournament play.

In a tournament, the winning crapshooters are usually decided in the last few moments of a game. It is not uncommon to see someone place $480 on the place 6 & 8, as well as on the big six and eight, hoping for a six or eight on the last few rolls of the dice. If the six or eight does roll, they'll receive $480 for the Big Number bet, and $560 for the place bet - a total of $1040 for one roll of the dice!

How to Play Craps

Posted by admin on April 10, 2009
Craps / No Comments

From scenes of guys rolling dice against a wall in back alleys, dollar bills flying, to shouts of glee under the lights of the casino, Craps is a gambling game with a rich history and almost mythical status. At a live casino, people always seem to be gathered around a Craps table, yelling and cheering and having a great time. Whether at a live casino or on the Internet, Craps is a game that offers decent odds and a variety of bets to keep a gaming enthusiast interested.

Craps is a game centered around two six-sided dice with which a player ("shooter") rolls a number between 2 and 12. On a shooter's first roll, called the "come out" roll, the number generated determines how the play will continue. Before the shooter rolls, players lay bets down on a "Pass Line" (a player can also bet "Don't Pass," a bet against the shooter, but this is less common). If the shooter rolls a 2, 3, or 12, he has rolled "Craps" (or "crapped out") and Pass bets are lost. If the shooter rolls 7 or 11, everyone betting on the Pass Line wins, and gets even money on their Pass Line bet. If the shooter rolls any other number, this number becomes the "Point." The objective is then for the shooter to roll the Point again before rolling a 7. If he rolls a 7 first, the Pass Line bets are lost. If he rolls the Point, everyone who laid a bet on the Pass Line when the Point was established wins.

When the Point is established, most casinos offer you the option of "taking odds" on your Pass Line bet by putting an additional wager behind your initial bet on the Pass Line. This bet is the best bet in the casino and should always be taken. When the shooter makes his Point, Pass Line bets are paid even money. Odds bets are paid off at the true odds of that number being rolled. For example, if you make a Point of 4, you are paid off on your odds bet at 2 to 1. Casinos offer Odds bets of twice, three times, or even ten times the amount of your additional wager. You should look for a casino that offers the largest amount of Odds bets you can make.

If you missed the shooter's come out roll, it's okay. You can place a "Come" bet. What a Come bet means is that the shooter's next roll becomes the Point for you and you alone (or whoever made the Come bet with you). If the shooter rolls a 7 when you make a Come bet, you win and everyone who bet Pass loses. If the shooter makes his Point before you make yours, your bet is still good until someone rolls a 7, in which case you would lose or until you make your point.

There are a number of tempting "Side" bets you can make as well, all of which are clearly outlined on the table. They include "Field" Bets, meaning if any of a variety of numbers (listed on the felt) are rolled, you win; "Any Craps", meaning if a 2, 3 or 12 comes on the next roll you win; and possibly the most popular, "Hard Way" bets. A Hard Way bet is a bet that a certain number will come on a double. That is, a "Hard Eight" is rolled when each die comes up 4, a "Hard Ten" when both dice read 5, etc. Since there is only one way to make these types of numbers, they come up less frequently, and therefore offer a big payout when they hit before a 7 comes or before that number comes any other way.

While the Side Bets are fun, they offer very poor odds in relation to the odds of them actually coming up. If you are looking to maximize your profit in Craps, stick to the Pass (Or Don't Pass), Come, and Odds bets.
