The Perplexity of the Fours and Tens

The four and ten give an admirable 9:5 ($9 given back for ever five dollars wagered) reward, so if you play $5 on both numbers, you will win nine dollars if either one hits. Of course, if you paid for the same numbers you will win a bit more, but you will have to make at least a $25 wager on the two (fifty dollars total) to make this profitable.

Would you like to understand the secrets that craps pros use to profit from five dollar wagers on the 4s and 10s?

Let us see!

What you will be watching for is three hits on the four or 10 to make your $$$$. If the shooter is a good one, you will more than likely make this bet, and this is how you’ll do it.

First, place $5 on both the 4 and ten. Let us say that the 4 hits and you earn 9 dollars. Take the two numbers down and you’ll have nineteen dollars in your hand (fourteen dollars from the 4 and $5 from the ten). Add a dollar to this and bet the four once more for twenty dollars. When you win you get $36 along with your $20 back. Cash in the six dollars and lay the 4 a 3rd time for 50 dollars. This 3rd hit wins you $90, and you take it all off the table. You have changed your original bankroll of $5 into 90 dollars in only three hits.

Now if the 10 hit 1st you would be wagering on that number rather than the 4. And, you must wager only if the shooter is good enough to bet on – does he bet big on himself and look like he’ll be a great shooter? If not, do not bet on them – find a different table or delay for the next shooter.

In thirty six sample tosses, you should observe 3 4s and three tens, for a sum of 6 hits – the same number as the 7, so choosing an excellent shooter is extremely important. Once you do, this three step process will work more frequently than you might imagine. It is an excellent way of turning only five dollars into 90 dollars in a tiny amount of time.
