If you’re watching for anticipation, noise and more excitement than you can with stand, then craps is the casino game to play.
Craps is an exciting game with whales, low-rollers, and everybody in between. If you’re a people-watcher this is one game that you’ll love to watch. There’s the whale, gambling with a huge bankroll and making boisterous announcements when he wagers across the board, "five hundred and twenty across," you’ll hear the whale say. He is the individual to observe at this table and he understands it. They’ll either succeed big or don’t win huge and there’s no in between.
There’s the low-roller, possibly attempting to acquaint himself with the whales. He’ll tell the other bettors of books he has read on dice positioning and hover around the most accomplished player at the craps table, eager to talk and "pick each others brains".
My preferred gamblers at the table are the true gentlemen from the old times. These aging guys are usually even-tempered, commonly gentle and will almost always offer pointers from the "good ole days."
There are a good many other personalities that you’ll find around a packed Craps table. When you bite the bullet and commit to join the game, be sure you use proper conduct. Locate a place on the rail and lay your $$$$$ down in the "come" spot. Do not ever do this when the dice are in motion or you will become known as the last character I wanted to talk of, the ass.
