You can never capitulate, never surrender, at no time think, "This is awful, I am going to risk the rest on the Hard 4 and, if I lose, then I’ll say goodbye. But if I win, I’ll be back at the start." This is the most block headed thing you could try at the closing of a losing night.
If you are compelled to give your cash away, for heaven’s sake give it to your preferred charity. Don’t award it to the gambling hall. At times, you shall win one of those moronic wagers, but don’t dream you will win enough over time to cover your losses.
